c) Location Information

  • If you grant permission, we may collect precise or approximate location data to associate inspection records with property locations. You can disable location services in your device settings at any time.

  • To provide and maintain the App's core functionality, including inspection recording, register generation, and reporting

  • To authenticate users and manage access to the App

  • To sync inspection data between field devices and our servers

  • To generate and export inspection reports and compliance registers

  • To send non-conformance alerts and notifications to MFP Smoke personnel

  • To improve the App's performance, reliability, and user experience

  • Within MFP Smoke Management: Inspection data and reports are shared with authorised MFP Smoke personnel, including office staff, technicians, and management, for the purpose of service delivery and follow-up.

  • With Property Owners/Managers: Inspection reports and registers may be provided to property owners, managers, or their appointed ESM auditors as part of our contracted services.

  • Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers for hosting, data storage, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services we have engaged them to provide.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, and access controls.

Account information is retained for the duration of your employment or engagement with MFP Smoke Management and may be retained thereafter as required by law.
